You will visit and will surely be enchanted by the beautiful landscapes of Crete. At one point of the gorge the walls are only 3 metres apart from each other. Are also known as the ’iron curtains’ with sides rising sheer up to 100 feet.
The hike is followed by a short cruise around the southern coastline to the pretty costal village of Chora Sfakion, where you will have the opportunity for lunch break in one of the local traditional Tavernas.
What to take with you at Samaria Gorge: Proper walking shoes, photo camera, a bottle of water, fruits or sweets during the walk, swimming gear, bathing suit.
